Although, her ranch foreman, half-breed Jean Bautiste, is in love with her, June prefers her wealthy neighbor, Billy Durland, who is later elected sheriff. June\u0027s cousin, Tom Makinnon, arrives at the ranch, claiming rights to half the land. While they survey the estate on horseback, June slaps Tom for getting aggressive with her, then loses her revolver as she rides away. Tom is later found dead with June\u0027s gun nearby, and she is arrested. Billy frees June by burning down the jail, and as they search for the real killer, he is shot in the arm by Jean. June forces Jean to confess that he murdered Tom in a fit of jealousy, after which the foreman commits suicide by leaping into a gorge. June is exonerated and she marries Billy.","wins":0,"nominations":0,"casts":[{"name":"Gladys Leslie","code":"nm0504109","characters":"June Wheeler"},{"name":"Frank Morgan","code":"nm0604656","characters":"Billy Durland"},{"name":"Warner Richmond","code":"nm0725173","characters":"Jean Bautiste"},{"name":"Warren Chandler","code":"nm0151482","characters":"Tom Makinnon"},{"name":"Charles Craig","code":"nm0185803","characters":"Sam Bigby"},{"name":"George Henry","code":"nm0377832","characters":"Mr. Orchard"},{"name":"Marie Burke","code":"nm0121783","characters":"Mrs. Bigby"},{"name":"Cecil Kern","code":"nm0449439","characters":"Miss Sutherland"},{"name":"Mary Christensen","code":"nm0159852","characters":"Marie"},{"name":"William Bechtel","code":"nm0065038","characters":"Undetermined Role"}],"budget":null,"lifetimeGross":null,"openingWeekendGross":null,"worldwideGross":null,"keywords":[],"production":[{"id":"co0026198","text":"Vitagraph Company of America"}],"prestigiousAwardSummary":null,"moreLikeThisTitles":[]}
